Wedding at Omni San Diego | Blush and Peach Centerpieces | Wedding at USD The Immaculata Parish

A couple of years ago I designed a wedding at the Omni Hotel for Angela.
You can check out Angela's wedding HERE
Over the years I have designed many events for Angela’s family.
This time we had a wonderful opportunity to design
Stephen and Rita’s wedding. (Angela’s Brother).
Rita carried a lovely bouquet with all peonies and garden roses
which was embellished with a beautiful lace and broaches.
We designed a floral purse for the flower girl, so she could be glamorous!
A fabulous church needs amazing florals.
It was only fitting that the USD: The Immaculata Parish
had tall arrangements flowing with orchids.
We used plethora of orchids in centerpiece with peach,
blush and white roses standing on a ornate gold candelabra.
The centerpieces at the reception stood tall on clear glass
vases flowing with a hanging orchids and crystals.
We used peach roses, blush roses and white roses to detail the centerpiece.
Elaine from sweet cheeks provided a beautiful masterpiece!

Red, White and Blue | 4th July table setting | Red centerpiece

Its 4th of July weekend and all décor this weekend revolves
around red, white and blue. We got some inspiration and
tips for you on how to get this color combination right!
Red, White and Blue individually are beautiful
and strong color. Paired right these colors
can create a dramatic look. We paired these 3 colors
to create a tall and short centerpiece.

TIP

When working around red, white and blue as part
of your décor, select a monochromatic floral pieces.
For Red we used all red roses, if you’re selecting white
go with white roses and white orchids and for Blue you
can select vibrant blue hydrangeas or hybrid delphiniums.

Marie Antoinette theme centerpiece | Floral Gown | Couture Centerpiece

One of our clients asked us to design a centerpiece that was french
inspired and Marie Antoinette perfectly fit the bill.
My initial instinct was to search Pinterest and design the exact opposite.
(You can check out some of my pins HERE )
Instead of designing the usual florals with teapots
we used a bustier and created a couture floral gown for a centerpiece.
You can check out the time-lapse of how we created
this lovely couture piece HERE
It bring all the elements of French inspired, Marie Antoinette,
Couture all in one piece!
It is a perfect option for a bridal shower or even a wedding!

Modern Green Centerpiece | Pave Style Centerpiece | Green Centerpiece

If you have been following me on Instagram (if your not, you should HERE
you would know that a couple of weekend ago we designed a
lovely engagement party. We designed 2 different style of centerpieces
for the party, one being a pave with green roses, calla lilies
and hydrangea blooms to add a modern yet sophisticated look.
Second style of centerpiece with vibrant
green pomedors to intertwined with lily grass.
two simple options yet very modern and clean.

I recently blogged about the pave style centerpiece.
You can check it out HERE.

Black and white wedding design | Black and white wedding decor

Black and white designs are fabulous and chic!
Adding a touch of red makes the whole design glamorous!
Beautiful clouds of white hydrangeas and roses floated majestically
on black candelabras that were embellished with hanging black
crystal jewels. Every pillar candle with embellished with black lace.
We added a white rose linen, chargers, table numbers,
and napkins from our personal collection.
The beautiful bride carried a lovely red bouquet with
all roses and deep red calla lilies.

Blush Tall Centerpieces | San Diego Wedding Florist

When you walk into a reception most guest look for that wow factor.
Something that can blow your mind away.
For example, A fabulous and opulent design
(not only floral but also the whole design of the event),
to see something unexpected, a non recurring theme are a few to mention.

I am partial to floral (and always will be)
so I tend to lean to a more tall and opulent design.
We used a clean tall vase with hanging crystals and orchids with
peach roses, soft pink and hot pink roses and a splash of blush roses.
We added gold sequin lace linen, gold chargers and
gold flatware from our personal collection.
We will be designing almost 40 of these beautiful centerpieces
for a wedding thats coming up soon.
So now imagine your guest walking into a ballroom with 40 of
of these beautiful centerpieces which will blow their mind away!

Cannot imagine?
I will post pictures on my Instagram be sure to check it out HERE.

Blush Centerpiece | Tall Centerpiece

These lovely blush roses paired with pink roses are lovely combination
for a wedding. This combination would be perfect for any time of the year,
be it spring, summer or winter, its a classic combination.
Orchids give a dramatic flair to this centerpiece.
I love Gold...Alot.
It brings the fabulousness to any event.
One of the many reason I love gold is it adds warmth
to the table setting. We used gold crinkle linen from our
personal collection with gold chargers, gold napkins and gold stemware.

Looking for understated elegance?

Pair this centerpieces with a lovely white or silver
linen, white chavire chairs and chargers. You would hit
it right out of the park.

Pink and Peach Centerpiece

The peach roses scream summer to me.
I have always wanted to design a wedding with this combination.
Its vibrant and subtle at the same time.
And finally I got my wish last year.
(This setting is from last years wedding)
Before the wedding I got this idea of adding multiple
pieces on one long table to see how it would look.

For this setting instead of placing a single centerpieces or 2
centerpieces of the same size on a long table, we added
multiple pieces in different sizes.
We used a gold rosette linen from our personal collection with
gold chargers and flatware.

Let me know what you think?

color combination is HERE and HERE

Indian Wedding in San Diego | Indian Wedding at the Sheraton

A lovely Indian wedding to start a fabulous day!
Apart from the fact that we have "an Indian taking care of
business at ArtQuest" we love Indian weddings!
For this wedding we used blue hydrangeas,
lavender roses, hot pink roses and calla lilies.
We draped champagne and pink fabric on the gazebo
at the Sheraton to create a lovely mandap.
Lush vibrant floral columns framed the gazebo.
At the reception, we used 2 lovely peacocks for the
place cards to greet guests.
We had a wonderful time designing this wedding with Nahid
from Wedding Elegance by Nahid

Suzanne Hansen from SheWanders Photography captured
this wedding beautifully.
Thank you Suzanne the pictures are absolutely beautiful!

White Short Centerpiece

I love a beautiful lush white centerpiece.
It's a timeless classic and you can never go wrong with this choice.
We paired this lovely centerpieces with orchids, peonies and roses
with a lovely linen from our very own collection.

I most definitely love the clean white lines of a white centerpieces.
However, on the other hand I always debate if adding some
color would bring more warmth to the table??

I let you decide.
Do you prefer a simple monochromatic centerpieces like this one
OR
a centerpieces that brings more warmth to the table
with hints of some colors with some blush roses.

Blush Short Centerpiece

This is one of my favorite color combinations.
A lovely blush rose paired with soft pink roses
makes this centerpiece a classic.
We paired this centerpiece with a crinkle crushed gold linen
from our person collection.

Do you know we have become a full service
production company?
from design, linen, chargers, napkins, rentals!!!
Yes we do it all!
We have become a full service production company!
After years of designing floral it was only fitting that
we branched out to becoming a full service production company!

If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Have a fabulous weekend!

Bright Pave Design | Vibrant Short Centerpiece.

Pave is a lovely alternative to short centerpiece.
It is a versatile design.
Paired with the right colors you can go from
classic and traditional to modern and sophisticated.
It is a wonderful alternative for a traditional short centerpiece.
In this setting we paired a lovely mint green linen with a
modern pave centerpiece with calla lilies, roses and hydrangeas.

HERE you can find other pave designs we have created in the past.

Lilac Bouquet

Simple and elegant this lilac bouquet would be fabulous
against your beautiful white dress.
Available only during the spring and early summer, this is your chance
to take advantage till these beautiful blooms last!

Have a fabulous Monday!

PS: You can find lilac in white as well!

Blush and Green Centerpiece

This is a fresh color palette that welcomes spring with open arms.
Though these blooms are available year around, just the
combination of green hydrangea paired with these
lovely blush roses gives this centerpieces a refreshing look.
To give a modern and clean look we bunched blooms of roses,
hydrangeas and lilies collectively to give a new "design".

To give a romantic feel to the setting we added a mint green linen,
gold lace, chargers and napkins and stemware from our private collection.
Oh I so love the gold lace!!! It make it so elegant and opulent.

Wedding at Our Lady of Rosary in Little Italy and Hyatt La Jolla

Canepa | Tallarida wedding was the first wedding we designed this year!
A beautiful Italian wedding with lots of fine details.
The beautiful bride carried a white bouquet with gardenias and roses
embellished with ostrich plumes, jewels and detailed with a fabulous
broach from our private collection.
Keeping up with some fashion, the lovely flower girls carried
floral purses with all roses.
The reception at the Hyatt La Jolla was absolutely wonderful!
Fabulous white floral with roses, hydrangeas and orchids
were incorporated throughout the wedding.
Feast table and family tables had statement pieces with lampshade
designs creating a pillar of florals with hydrangeas and roses.
We added exquisite lace and champagne
linens from our private collection.
We had a fabulous time designing this wedding and
we wish the wonderful couple lots of joy and happiness!

Check out the video HERE it has all the fabulous details!

PS: I have designed many white wedding bouquet. No two bouquets
are the same, though they have the same floral
You can check them out HERE

Lamp shade design.

This is a lovely pairing of orchids and hydrangea blooms.
A simple yet classic design with all white floral.
Instead of a traditional tall centerpiece with opulent floral,
this option is a different approach to design.
Tall pillar of floral paired with hanging crystals and
a lamp shade will create statement pieces.

Tip: Randomly placing few statement pieces all over the
ballroom will give you the wow factor.

Nautical Bouquet

White bouquets are very versatile.
You can make them glamorous with crystals and jewels,
vintage inspired with lace and features,
or go simple with just roses and gardenia.

For this bouquet we were inspired by a nautical theme
and used shells and burlap paired with all garden roses.
This is one of the reason I love white bouquets.
You can never go wrong.
Simple, classic and yet timeless.
Have a fabulous day!

Rainbow Roses

Its no secret that we love color here at ArtQuest.
The other day we received these gorgeous multi colored roses
and we couldn't wait to design.
We set up a table with these gorgeous rainbow color roses
paired with our gorgeous sequin lace linen from our private collection.
Of course we had to use some hanging crystals to the design.

TIP: Many want a different wedding, something unique, may be
a style, a color combination that is unique, these rainbow color roses
bring that something extra your looking for.

Think its too much, how about using these multi colored roses at
your place card. Leaving your guests imagination to run wild
before they enter the wedding reception.
