Vintage inspired centerpiece

I love to create a warm ambiance and a unique experience for my clients!
Create a warm ambiance by adding accents of gold, be it flatware, stemware
chargers, vases, candle holders and a lot more.
Pairing a lovely a soft lavender linen with dainty soft pink roses and
gold accent pieces brings a vintage understated elegance to the table.
Sometimes its not all about the florals, it in the fine details.

Yellow and White Wedding | Wedding in La Jolla Cove Suites

Today we are reminiscing those beautiful warm summer days with this beautiful
yellow and white wedding we designed at the La Jolla Cove Suites.
I love this combination of yellow and white, its elegant, vibrant and a perfect
fit for a summer wedding. The bouquet our lovely bride carried was with
yellow cymbidiums, and white garden roses which was wrapped with
a lovely gold lace. The ceremony had 2 manzanita trees filled with lush
yellow roses and hydrangeas and a chuppah where the lovely couple
exchanged their vows. The reception and ceremony overlooked the
amazing pacific ocean, where guests could see the waves splash
up against the coast. We designed 2 styles of centerpieces, one a tall
beautiful gold candelabras and the other a short urn with yellow roses
and white hydrangeas. The bride spent hours making origami cranes that
were displayed throughout the wedding. It was wonderful experience
designing this wedding and we wish the wonderful couple a
happy and prosperous married life together.

Red, White and Blue | 4th July table setting | Red centerpiece

Its 4th of July weekend and all décor this weekend revolves
around red, white and blue. We got some inspiration and
tips for you on how to get this color combination right!
Red, White and Blue individually are beautiful
and strong color. Paired right these colors
can create a dramatic look. We paired these 3 colors
to create a tall and short centerpiece.

TIP

When working around red, white and blue as part
of your décor, select a monochromatic floral pieces.
For Red we used all red roses, if you’re selecting white
go with white roses and white orchids and for Blue you
can select vibrant blue hydrangeas or hybrid delphiniums.

Pink and Peach Centerpiece

The peach roses scream summer to me.
I have always wanted to design a wedding with this combination.
Its vibrant and subtle at the same time.
And finally I got my wish last year.
(This setting is from last years wedding)
Before the wedding I got this idea of adding multiple
pieces on one long table to see how it would look.

For this setting instead of placing a single centerpieces or 2
centerpieces of the same size on a long table, we added
multiple pieces in different sizes.
We used a gold rosette linen from our personal collection with
gold chargers and flatware.

Let me know what you think?

color combination is HERE and HERE

White Short Centerpiece

I love a beautiful lush white centerpiece.
It's a timeless classic and you can never go wrong with this choice.
We paired this lovely centerpieces with orchids, peonies and roses
with a lovely linen from our very own collection.

I most definitely love the clean white lines of a white centerpieces.
However, on the other hand I always debate if adding some
color would bring more warmth to the table??

I let you decide.
Do you prefer a simple monochromatic centerpieces like this one
OR
a centerpieces that brings more warmth to the table
with hints of some colors with some blush roses.

Blush Short Centerpiece

This is one of my favorite color combinations.
A lovely blush rose paired with soft pink roses
makes this centerpiece a classic.
We paired this centerpiece with a crinkle crushed gold linen
from our person collection.

Do you know we have become a full service
production company?
from design, linen, chargers, napkins, rentals!!!
Yes we do it all!
We have become a full service production company!
After years of designing floral it was only fitting that
we branched out to becoming a full service production company!

If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Have a fabulous weekend!

Bright Pave Design | Vibrant Short Centerpiece.

Pave is a lovely alternative to short centerpiece.
It is a versatile design.
Paired with the right colors you can go from
classic and traditional to modern and sophisticated.
It is a wonderful alternative for a traditional short centerpiece.
In this setting we paired a lovely mint green linen with a
modern pave centerpiece with calla lilies, roses and hydrangeas.

HERE you can find other pave designs we have created in the past.

Valentines is around the corner!

I am a hopeless romantic and holidays like Valentines
just takes it to another level. Holidays like Valentines gives
us an opportunity to create wonderful memories.
For many many years Red has been "The" color.
However over the past few years, many have drifted towards pink.
We designed this table with a combination
of different shades of pink to create a romantic setting.
Lovely white hydrangea, soft pink roses, and tulips
paired with gold flatware and glassware is a
perfect combination for a romantic dinner.

TIP for the Guys: Dress well this valentines!
Put some thought into what your going to wear.
As much as she would love those flowers, jewelry and that
romantic dinner, you dressing well will sweep her of her feet!

Roof top dinner party!

Now that the holidays are around the corner, they are many many parties.
Some we get to host and some we may attend.
If you are hosting a party, and you don't have
a location how about a roof top???
This was a party on the roof top we designed for a wonderful client.
Lovely blues hydrangeas, yellow roses, ivory hydrangeas
on a beautiful rustic urn paired with floating candles.

TIP: Just because its the holidays your centerpieces need not be
full of douglas or nobal fir.
You can always have a lush centerpiece with flowers

Melissa and Pete's wedding at The Dana
on Mission Bay.

This wedding was elegant and beautiful with a bright fushia pink roses,
 orchids and hydrangeas.
The beautiful ballroom at the Dana in Mission Bay
was filled with these gorgeous beautiful arrangements.
I met Melissa through her sister Erica, who's wedding
we designed a couple of years ago.
You can see Erica's wedding HERE
Melissa, carried a beautiful bouquet of purple vanda
orchids, phaleonopsis orchids, roses embellished
with beautiful jewels. The Ceremony had the beautiful San Diego
Bay as the back drop with sail boats.
2 Tall arrangements with hydrangea blooms, roses and orchids
cascading stood tall on pedestals covered with gold rosette fabric.
The reception carried the same style and design
with one sided cascading orchids.
We used linens, charges and napkins from our very own collection.
Robert Battoe planned this event beautiful.
Thank you Robert and it was wonderful to work with you.

Thank you Melissa and Pete, it was wonderful to design a
beautiful wedding for both of you!

"RePurpose"

Sometimes we over buy for weddings in terms of products.
Yesterday I was about to throw aways some gorgeous
mini cataleya orchids and it pains my heart to do
something like this.
With my love for gold at its paramount now,
I picked up a gold spray can and sprayed
these orchids gold. Oh yes I did it!!!
They turned out just magnificent.
So I put together a table setting with the rich tones of gold,
 champagne, peach, white and pink.
Perfect for a short centerpiece, lush, rich and opulent.

Bright Pave Style Centerpiece

Pave is one of the most exquisite styles
that you can incorporate in your event.
And more over it will go with any theme you select,
be it a classic elegant white wedding or a bright and
vibrant table setting like this one we put together.
We used vibrant color roses like red, pink, yellow and paired them
with one of our blush pink linens and exquisite gold lace.
We wanted to make this setting rich and opulent so we paired
the floral with some lovely floral print plates and gold flatware!

A perfect way to start of this week!

A combination of Gold and Silver

This is one color combination that will always remain a classic,
the champagne, gold, ivory, silver and white.
We matched gold and silver together in this table setting.
Often many consider that paring gold and silver is too much.
However I want to let this table speak for itself!
To add a touch of color we used soft
butterscotch colored roses and lavender roses.
